Dos Ojos Cenote

It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and extravagant sites in Yucatan, and one of the largest underwater cenotes systems in the Riviera. Its name is due to the two sinkholes it is formed by, with approximately 70 meters in diameter each, which are connected by a 400 meter long corridor. It is the location of the deepest known underwater cave passage: it is 118 meters deep.

In it you can perform various activities, since thanks to the visibility underwater you can appreciate different species, with snorkeling and diving. Entrance fee: 200 pesos, or about $14 USD.

Escondido Cenote

One of the favorites. Hidden among the majestic and imposing jungle of Tulum, completely surrounded by nature, it is incredible to refresh yourself in its crystalline waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Located just 3 km from the south exit of Tulum. This cenote is a large and deep pool, has a couple of stone cliffs of 2 to 4 meters from which you can jump into the water. It also has some underwater caves to explore. Visit it and enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty of this beautiful place. Entrance fee: $4 USD

Sac Actun Cenote

Sac Actun is actually a subway cave system with an approximate length of 347.7 km. This makes it the longest subway cave system in Mexico, and since January of last year when it was discovered that there was a connection between it and the "Dos Ojos" cenote system, it became the largest underwater cave system in the world. Located on the Federal Highway, past Xelha, just one kilometer from Tulum, it is an excellent option for diving. If you like adventure, you definitely can't miss this place. Entrance fee 350 pesos

Great Cenote

This spectacular cenote is an excellent option if you are in Tulum, since it is only a couple of kilometers away, and is one of the most famous and favorite cenote in Mexico. Perfect for snorkeling because the water is so clear and crystalline that you can see much of the underwater life without having to dive deep. Admission fee: $ 25 USD

Blue Cenote (Bacalar)

This beautiful cenote is located right at the entrance to Bacalar, one of the most beautiful magical towns of the Riviera Maya, just 30 minutes from Chetumal. It is a place that offers that mystical beauty of the great cenotes. An open cenote that has a diameter of approximately 200 meters and a depth of 90 meters, in which you can enjoy diving into its cold waters, and then get out and look around to marvel at an unparalleled view. This is a must for divers, as it is a real challenge due to its great depth.
